The following is a question that I regularly get asked by “on-the-ground” workers- “How can I find out what scripture/ministry media is available online in my people’s language so I can download and use in our outreach?” The below are the main websites I know to point people to that allow them to search for and download media in their language:

OUTREACH WEBSITES IN VARIOUS LANGUAGES
While there are likely thousands of Christian outreach sites in various languages here are two resources (besides Google) that you can use to check for outreach websites in your people’s language:
- Indigitous Media Resource Hub, (database of outreach resources, can be searched by language) https://indigitous.org/resources/media
- Gods.Gift (listing of outreach websites available in 50 languages), https://gods.gift/
My question to you is, are there other sites that I should be referring workers to that you would recommend (I’ve gathered a separate listing of outreach apps to point them to so my main interest here is A/V outreach media)? If you have any suggestions I’d be really eager to hear what they are!
Hi!
I just was at the ICCM Europe where Hugh from Belgium mentioned about the EMDC. When I read the question “How can I find out what scripture/ministry media is available online in my people’s language so I can download and use in our outreach?” I would say: For more common languages our website 4training.net has a lot to answer that:
– language information pages: what Bible translations are there and which target groups are they for? (in some languages like Arabic there are big pitfalls with the different Bible translations that many people aren’t aware of…)
– completely copyright-free resources on essential topics in discipling people, translated into many languages so they can be used side-by-side
You can check it yourself and I’m happy to answer questions!
Blessings,
Samuel
