Global Missional AI Summit

The Global Missional AI Summit brings together mission-minded workers, Bible translators, and technology practitioners to explore the value artificial intelligence (AI) can bring to missional work. The purpose is for times of learning and collaboration that result in the use of AI for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.

The first MAI Summit was held virtually in September 2021. Its success prompted an in-person, follow-up summit to be held in April 2022 at The International Linguistics Center in Dallas, Texas. The event will have two tracks:

  • Bible Translation and
  • Kingdom Growth (Scripture Engagement, Media to Movement, Digital Discipleship).

Summit

The Spring 2022 Global Missional AI Summit will be a hybrid event. The event will take place on April 6-7, 2022, with an optional community day for in-person attendees on April 8. The main sessions will feature impactful speakers and content from both industry and missional perspectives. There will also be dedicated time each day for track-specific presentations and discussions. The optional community day will include focus group discussions and a potential hackathon. In-person registration includes all meals on April 6-7 and breakfast and lunch on April 8. For those unable to attend the Summit in person, the event will be streamed to virtual registrants on April 6-7, 2022.

Registration for in-person and virtual attendees is available at missional.ai/register There is also an opportunity for prospective speakers to propose a talk at missional.ai/propose-a-talk

Sponsorship Opportunity

A successful event will create a meeting ground for like-minded individuals and ministries to collectively wrestle with the challenges and opportunities for AI to be used for Kingdom growth. The

ETEN Innovation Lab, SIL, and Biblica sponsored the 2021 virtual event. The follow-up summit, being an in-person event, will have increased expenses and so we are looking for additional mission-minded individuals and organizations to sponsor the event. Please consider sponsoring the 2022 Global Missional AI Summit.

  1. Your registration link to the 2022 summit is no longer working because it’s in the past and you are staging the website for the 2023 summit.
